    What does my SinusScore mean?

    It summarizes how much impact you report from six symptom and life-impact areas plus symptom frequency over the past two weeks. Higher scores mean more reported impact. This first version uses an illustrative scoring model, not a clinically validated test. It cannot diagnose a condition, measure disease severity, or determine treatment.

    Do I have to give you my contact info?

    You can take the whole quiz with a playful username. We don’t ask for your name, email, or phone number to show your result. Your symptom, trigger, and OTC answers stay in memory while this page is open. Game usernames and game scores are sent to the shared game leaderboard; no quiz answers are sent with them. Your username and completed score are automatically saved to this browser’s preview board for up to 30 days. You can remove them with “Clear my saved score.”

    Are the leaderboards real?

    The Boop Run game has a shared leaderboard of real submitted game scores. The SinusScore symptom board uses labeled example entries plus your completed symptom score. Your username and score are automatically saved only in this browser for up to 30 days, where anyone using the browser can see them. They are not shared with other visitors, and your quiz answers are not saved. Use “Clear my saved score” to remove your entry. The board does not represent clinical percentiles or a population comparison.

    When should I talk to a doctor?

    Seek medical care for severe or concerning symptoms, symptoms that worsen after improving, or symptoms lasting more than 10 days without improvement. Don’t use this score to delay care. Read the CDC’s guidance ↗.
